Valteri School Mäntykangas is located in Kuopio and is one of six Valteri School units. The school is part of the national Valteri Centre for Learning and Consulting, that operates under the Finnish National Agency for Education. The school provides teaching on the pre-primary education and basic education. The school’s students and support period students study in class groups that are arranged by age groups and are guided by multidisciplinary teams.
At Valteri, teaching, rehabilitation that supports learning, and counselling that promotes functional capacity form a cohesive, complementary whole that utilises the multidisciplinary expertise of the school.
